CHAMPIONS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD IN THE HEART OF FRENCH SWITZERLAND: LAUSANNE

From Sunday to Tuesday, more than one hundred stars from the world of athletics met in Lausanne for the first Swiss date in the Diamond League meeting schedule.

This is not the first time that Nike has provided its athletes with the services of the WINTECARE team. A pathway that started a year ago now, and is continuing to produce excellent results.

Indeed, this was an event with a particularly jam-packed schedule, with almost twenty athletes keeping WINTECARE specialists Shane Rainbird and Ervin Kapaj busy in three days of full-time treatments. Each session began by analysing the individual athlete and, based on their needs and specialist sports, programmes were devised and implemented to achieve various objectives: biomechanical optimisation, muscle recovery, tissue oxygenation, local rehabilitation, counteracting jet lag. All services designed to support the athlete in achieving his or her goals.

As usual, our congrats go out to those who hit the bullseye and in particular Christian Taylor and Pedro Pichardo, respectively first and second in the triple jump, Janieve Russell second with a PB in the 400m hurdles, Sergej Shubenkov first in the 110m hurdles, Yasmani Copello bronze in the 400m hurdles, Marie Josée Ta Lou first in the 100m and with Francine Niyonsaba first in the women’s 800m.
Warm wishes to all the athletes who dropped by our treatment room. We’ll see you at the next meet! Stay tuned!
